Six of us from the UK had an excellent 3 hour tour of Palma led by Albert Bouzas in June 2018. His historical knowledge of how Palma had developed over the centuries was immense and added significantly to our enjoyment and understanding of Palma today. If you want something more than ‘here is a church’ and ‘now for the cathedral’ then Albert is your man.

The tour was amazing! Much better and more than I anticipated. Albert is an amazing story teller and very knowledgeable guide. I felt transported back in time as we walked the narrow streets of the Old Town. I learned so much about the real history of Mallorca. It was incredible and a great way to spend the day.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Port Sóller and Valldemossa with Albert – it was definitely one of the high points of our trip to Mallorca. His knowledge and love of history and the countryside is obvious, and contagious! We learned much and had a fun, full day with him. He is a warm, engaging person and made the history of the area fascinating. (He even surprised us with some cocas de patatas- a favorite from a local pastry shop in Valldemossa. They were delicious!) Highly recommend!

Albert was a fantastic guide. He took us on a marvelous tour of the area. He is extremely knowledgeable and shares his facts in low key and interesting way. I highly recommend Albert if you are visiting this area. He will enhance your experience.

We, a group of 10 from Denmark, had a great tour. Albert was a marvellous guide, imparting interesting information in a way we could understand. He even helped “beyond the call of duty” by pushing a wheelchair-bound visitor around. We thoroughly recommend this tour.

The day was perfect! We thought we would spend more time at the market, but when it proved to be rather boring, Albert was quick to rework our day and help us have excellent experiences in Palma. Lunch was fabulous…local and delicious! The shopping was great and Albert really made our day in Palma special. We were so relaxed we thought we would have to take up living in Palma!! Thank you

Joyce Calvin, United States – Palma and Olivar Market

Albert was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. We covered a range of topics on our drive to the caves. It wasn’t just about the history. We feel we left with a good understanding of Majorcan culture and people.

As a couple, we’ve been regular visitors to Palma over the years and we thought we knew quite a lot about the city….until Albert’s tour. Around every corner, it seemed as if he had little hidden historical facts filling in the detail against his broader brush-strokes of the story of Palma. His English is superb, he clearly loves the subject and his enthusiasm for his home city and Mallorcan cuisine shines through. I would thoroughly recommend a tour with Albert – whether it’s your first time on the island or you consider yourself almost a local.

Ann-Marie Foster, Ireland – Eat like a local!

A wonderful day w/ Albert (a history lover) exploring beautiful Palma. He points out the monsters & creatures on buildings & churches thru-out, the city’s mix of charming shops & family owned businesses, a 600 yr old olive tree & an ornate City Hall w/ giant paper mâché figures paraded thru the streets on holidays. Best stop was the Mercado Oliva, a modern indoor market filled w/ everything you could possibly eat or drink. Albert, warm & funny, leads us to “his” tapas shop – great lunch, great tour
